Recently, Midea New Energy has achieved major progress in its distributed rural energy deployment across Jiangsu. The province’s first centralized convergence demonstration project — the 5.5 MW centralized convergence project in Donglu Village, Zhangzhuang Town, Pei County, Xuzhou — has officially kicked off, marking the commercial rollout of Midea New Energy’s centralized convergence model in the Jiangsu market.
Launched on September 22 in Donglu Village, the project taps idle rural rooftop resources and converts household rooftops into green power generation carriers. Upon completion, it will efficiently harness local solar resources, deliver clean electricity and cut carbon emissions to support the advancement of the "Dual Carbon" goals. Through the clustered residential PV development model, it also drives the penetration of distributed energy into rural areas, injecting green momentum into local new energy industry growth and rural revitalization.
