He joined Midea Group in 1997 and has successively served as President of the Domestic Division of Household Air Conditioners, President of the China Marketing Headquarters, Vice President of Midea Electric Appliance, General Manager of the Environmental Appliance Division, Director and General Manager of Wuxi Little Swan Co., Ltd., Chairman of Midea Intelligent Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., etc. Since May 2023, he has served as the Chairman of Beijing Hiconics Technology Co., Ltd. (Hiconics Technology, SZ300048). Since October 2023, he has served as the General Manager of the company.

He previously worked at DBS Bank (China) Limited and Shengfu Capital International Limited. Currently, he serves as Senior Manager of Strategic Development at Midea Group Co., Ltd. He has served as a Director of the Company since January 2026.

Joined Midea Group in 2015. He previously held multiple positions including Principal Specialist of Financial Management for Domestic Marketing, Head of Domestic Marketing Finance Department, Budget Management Manager, Budget & Accounting Management Manager within Midea Group’s Small Home Appliances Division, as well as Finance Manager of Shunde Factory, Midea Home Appliances Division. He currently serves as Head of Budget and Risk at Midea Group.

From November 2014 to December 2021, he served as Cost Management Manager and Budget Management Manager of the Residential Air Conditioning Division, Midea Group.From December 2021 to February 2025, he held the position of Marketing Finance Director of the Residential Air Conditioning Division, Midea Group.Since March 2025, he has served as Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.Since April 2025, he has been a Director of the Company.

He previously served as Senior Operations Manager of the Washing Machine Division and Head of Supply Chain Operations of the Residential Air Conditioner Division, Midea Group. He currently holds the position of HRBP Director of the Company.

He once worked in Yunxiao Auditors Firm in Fujian Province, Shenzhen CITIC Co., Ltd., China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited, Mangocity.com Limited, and Datang Telecom Technology Industry Group. Currently, he serves as a supervisor for master's degree candidates at the School of Management of Xiamen University, a partner of Shenzhen Oriental Fortune Capital Investment Management Co., Ltd., an independent director of Hubei Wufang Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., an independent director of Shenglan Technology Co., Ltd., etc. Since May 2023, he has been serving as an independent director of the company.

He previously served as an Independent Director of Henan Ancai Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. Currently, he is a Professor at China University of Political Science and Law and an Independent Director of CYTS Holdings Co., Ltd.

He graduated from the major of Material Science at Tsinghua University in July 2006. From June 2006 to September 2008, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University. From January 2008 to April 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Kyushu University, Japan. Since October 2008, he has been working at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Chongqing University. He once served as an associate professor and is currently a professor. From March 2015 to March 2016, he served as a visiting professor at Rice University, the United States. From June 2017 to May 2023, he served as an independent director of Shenzhen Xiangfenghua Technology Co., Ltd. Since May 2023, he has been serving as an independent director of the company.

Mr. Liu Yi currently serves as the General Manager of Hefei Midea Hiconics Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company. He has successively served as the person in charge of the North China region of Midea's Household Central Air Conditioning, and the General Manager of Product Sales for the Hubei region and Shaanxi region of Midea Washing Machines.

From November 2014 to December 2021, he served as Cost Management Manager and Budget Management Manager of the Residential Air Conditioning Division, Midea Group.From December 2021 to February 2025, he held the position of Marketing Finance Director of the Residential Air Conditioning Division, Midea Group.Since March 2025, he has served as Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.Since April 2025, he has been a Director of the Company.
