Recently, the roof-mounted distributed photovoltaic power station project (phase II) constructed by Midea New Energy for Huaxiang (Hongtong) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has been successfully connected to the grid. The project, with large capacity and pure self-use as its core, accurately addresses the pain points of manufacturing enterprises such as high electricity consumption, high electricity cost, and high pressure on power supply security, significantly improving the self-sufficiency rate of power, achieving direct reduction of electricity bills, dual reduction of carbon emissions, and setting industry benchmarks for green cost reduction and low carbon transformation for high-energy-consuming enterprises.

Huaxiang (Hongtong) Intelligent Technology is a high-tech enterprise under the Shanxi Huaxiang Group, mainly engaged in the manufacture of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and general parts. Continuous high-load production has led to a consistently high electricity cost, which is a significant cost pressure in the company's operations. To alleviate the root cause of electricity pressure and reduce production energy costs, the company has collaborated with Midea New Energy to build a distributed photovoltaic power station, directly supplying clean energy to production, achieving self-sufficiency in green electricity and direct cost reduction.
This photovoltaic project makes comprehensive use of 100,000 square meters of factory roof space, with a DC side installed capacity of up to 14.685MWp, equipped with 23,126 high-efficiency 635Wp modules, with an average annual power generation of 17,211,800 kWh, and adopts a self-generated and self-used model, where the generated electricity is directly supplied for factory production use. According to the relevant person in charge of the factory, the photovoltaic power station can meet about 15% of the factory's electricity demand for production. Calculated at an industrial electricity price of 0.5 yuan per kWh, it can save the company about 8.6 million yuan in electricity costs annually, significantly reducing reliance on purchased electricity and directly enhancing the company's profit margin.

Relying on Midea New Energy's full lifecycle intelligent operation and maintenance, the cumulative power generation over 25 years will exceed 430 million kWh, consistently reducing electricity costs for the company over the long term; Meanwhile, over 25 years, it will cumulatively reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 360.64 million tons and save 138.70 million tons of standard coal, achieving a win-win situation for economic benefits and green, low-carbon development.
This project is a typical implementation of Midea New Energy's large-capacity pure self-use photovoltaic system, effectively addressing the pain points of industrial and commercial power usage through 'green power cost reduction and energy conservation for carbon reduction'. In the future, Midea New Energy will continue to focus on corporate power demand, developing photovoltaic solutions with higher efficiency and greater benefits, assisting more manufacturing enterprises to achieve more stable power usage, lower costs, and greener development.
