On June 11th, the energy-related businesses under Midea Group made their debut under the overall brand image of "Midea Energy" at the 2025 International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy (Shanghai) Exhibition. Wei Chang, Vice President and CTO of Midea Group, released Midea Energy's three-dimensional driving strategy of "energy storage + heat pump + AI", and the energy industry will be built into another pillar industry of Midea Group. Five major energy scenarios were displayed simultaneously, demonstrating Midea's grand layout and innovative strength in the energy field.

Launch of Virtual Power Plant Aggregation Platform

In the application of the virtual power plant platform, Hiconics New Energy relies on comprehensive multi-resource enterprise entities and product matrices to make energy storage power plants and virtual power plants more agile, diversified, large-scale, and flexible. The prediction model based on advanced algorithms is at the leading level in the industry, among which the price budget accuracy reaches 92%, and the load prediction accuracy reaches 97%.

Facing the profit model transformation demand of the photovoltaic EPC industry after the "531 New Policy", Hiconicsics New Energy released a virtual power plant and signed cooperation agreements with many strategic partners on site. Up to now, the company has completed the application for power sales qualifications in five major regions including East China and South China, and achieved breakthroughs in some provinces, laying a foundation for the commercial operation of the virtual power plant platform.

Facing household energy needs, Hiconics New Energy has created the Meishu villa green power solution, which realizes the full-chain intelligence and one-screen control of household power generation, storage, and consumption, and establishes a household green energy microgrid.

The second-generation product of Midea Meishu villa green power aims at users' core needs for safe, efficient, and intelligent energy management. It converts solar energy into electrical energy through high-efficiency photovoltaic technology, realizing clean energy self-sufficiency for villa power supply, energy storage, charging, and heating. With fourfold safety guarantees, it can withstand power outages, expand capacity as needed, dispatch energy, and switch flexibly. Meishu 2.0 has stronger absorption capacity, which can realize 90kW/240kWh large-capacity backup power by connecting six battery packs in parallel. It can also flexibly set charging and discharging times according to local peak and valley electricity prices, support the mixed use of new and old batteries, and realize one-screen control of the whole house intelligence. It has the advantages of large capacity, strong absorption, high adaptability, multiple ecosystems, AI intelligence, etc., achieving double breakthroughs in technology and experience and leading the low-carbon smart life.

Expansion of Inverter Product Matrix

In the field of core photovoltaic equipment, Midea PV grid-connected inverters take the R&D concept of "strong grid adaptability and friendly scheduling" and continue to expand the inverter product line. Following the launch of 20kW-30kW power segment photovoltaic grid-connected inverters at the Jinan Photovoltaic Exhibition in March this year, Hiconics New Energy quickly carried out cooperation with multiple state-owned enterprises, financial leasing companies, and downstream channels. At this exhibition, Hiconics New Energy released a 40kW power product, forming a series of products with the previously launched products, covering about 70% of the market application scenarios of household grid-connected inverters. At the same time, Hiconics New Energy also released a 150kW industrial and commercial photovoltaic inverter product to meet the needs of industrial and commercial photovoltaic EPC.

This series has significant advantages: compatible with complex power grids, capable of intelligent power tracking and flexible power frequency adjustment; safe and reliable, with 10 major protection systems; supporting 1.5 times DC overmatching for efficient power generation; supporting remote upgrades, etc., making installation and maintenance convenient.
