Guangdong Midea Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. has successfully deployed a landmark green energy project - a 6.6MW distributed photovoltaic power generation project - in its Xingtan Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as GMCC Meizhi Xingtan Industrial Park).


Project Overview

A New Milestone in Green Technology

The project was launched in April 2024. After meticulous planning and implementation, it successfully achieved grid - connected power generation in November of the same year. The rooftop area covered by this project is 80,000 square meters, and 9,632 double - glass photovoltaic modules with a power of 645Wp have been installed. This not only makes efficient use of spatial resources but also creates green value.


Technical Configuration

A Smart Choice for Efficient Grid Connection

The total installed capacity of this project is 6.6MW. By making full use of the factory rooftop and ground space, it has deployed the high - efficiency Meiyi Roof, the personalized Meixi Roof, as well as the Green Energy Parking Court that integrates parking and charging and provides all - weather carbon - free power supply. It is equipped with 17 high - efficiency 320kW string inverters. Through the 10kV high - voltage system, it ensures the efficient and stable transmission of electricity, demonstrating the excellent efficiency and reliability of grid - connected power generation.

Remarkable Achievements in Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction

The photovoltaic power generation project at GMCC Meizhi Xingtan Industrial Park is expected to operate for 25 years. During this period, the cumulative power generation will reach 155.316 million kWh. The application of this green energy will effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 43,177.85 tons and save approximately 19,103.87 tons of standard coal.
