Recently, the distributed photovoltaic power station project of Nantong Fanyang Motor Accessories Co., Ltd., built by Midea New Energy, has officially been connected to the grid and is in operation. The project successfully resolved the construction bottleneck of the irregular roof in the factory, revitalized idle rooftop resources, and provided a tailor-made green energy solution, setting a high-quality example for the cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and low-carbon transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises through the implementation of distributed photovoltaic systems in industrial and commercial settings.

Located at the Nantong Fanyang Motor Accessories factory in Rugao, Jiangsu, the project has a total installation area of 5079 square meters, featuring 1224 Tongwei 635Wp high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, with a DC side installed capacity of 777.24kWp and an AC side installed capacity of 660kW. The project adopts an 'self-generated, self-used, surplus power to the grid' operational model, achieving a comprehensive power generation efficiency of 83.1%. The project is expected to generate 893,800 kWh in the first year, and approximately 21,305,200 kWh over a 25-year lifecycle, stably covering part of the company's production power needs, effectively alleviating the pressure of power costs, and achieving a dual improvement in economic and ecological benefits.

To address the industry pain points of high energy consumption, high power cost pressure, and urgent need for low-carbon transformation in manufacturing enterprises, Midea New Energy abandoned the standardized solution application model, focusing throughout the process on the actual production needs of customers, and customizing suitable photovoltaic solutions. During the early stages of the project, the technical team comprehensively investigated the factory's power load, roof load-bearing capacity, and grid connection conditions. During construction, they ensured that the company's normal production was not interrupted, balancing construction safety, project quality, and long-term power generation benefits, making clean energy truly applicable to industrial production scenarios.

The core construction challenges of this project were concentrated on the saddle plate deformable roof, with an uneven roof structure, irregular curvature, uneven distribution of spans and concrete thickness, and the addition of multiple large-span skylights, which posed extremely high risks for personnel operations and equipment installation, and conventional bracket technology could not be adapted. Faced with complex working conditions, Midea New Energy quickly formed a special technical team, which, through detailed on-site surveying, customized a specific construction plan: building a dedicated safety walkway to ensure safe personnel passage; Using an ultrasonic thickness gauge to accurately detect the thickness of the concrete, completely eliminating the hidden danger of bolts piercing through the roof; custom-made non-standard brackets perfectly adapted to the curvature of the deformable roof; Equipped with a dedicated waterproofing process, it simultaneously ensures structural stability and roof waterproofing. By relying on technological innovation, it successfully overcame construction bottlenecks, ensuring the smooth progress of the project.

From an ecological perspective, during the project's 25-year operation cycle, it is estimated to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 12,150 tons and save 6,400 tons of standard coal, continuously contributing to regional carbon reduction and pollution control, deeply aligning with the national 'dual carbon' strategic development orientation. The successful grid connection of this project not only demonstrates Midea New Energy's comprehensive construction capabilities in complex roof scenarios but also highlights its core competitiveness in technological innovation and customized services.

As a professional comprehensive new energy service provider deeply rooted in the industrial and commercial sectors, Midea New Energy possesses full-service capabilities covering development, design, construction, and operations. In the future, the company will continue to focus on the green transformation needs of physical enterprises, leveraging mature technological expertise and rich project experience to create more high-quality photovoltaic benchmark projects, providing efficient and well-suited low-carbon energy solutions for enterprises in various industries, and promoting the green and high-quality development of the real economy.
